In the cities of Utica and Rome, the makeup of the common council will be determined.

One race to keep an eye on is in the third district, in Laurens, where Kathleen Clark, the board chairwoman for the county, is being challenged by Democrat Cathy Nardi.
There are three new york state propositions on the ballot. The first is the mandatory question, should there be mention to revise and amend the state constitution. The second proposal would give a court power to reduce or revoke the public pension of a public official if they are convicted of a felony related to their office.
And the third could impact Oneida and Herkimer counties as it pertains to the Adirondack forest preserve. It would set up a 250-acre land bank to swap property used by local government.
The three state ballot issues can only be found on the back side of your ballots tomorrow.
Polling hours for tomorrow are from 6:00 am until 9:00 pm.
