UPDATE - Campbell In Trouble At Start Of Second Round Of US Open

Takes Triple Bogey On 12th Hole

ERIN, WI - Matt Campbell, the 27 year old golf pro from Rome, continues to struggle in the second round of the U.S. Open at Erin Hills, Wisconsin. Campbell went six over par on the first four holes on the back side to start his second round. Campbell picked up a birdie on the par five fourteenth hole, where yesterday he shot a triple bogey eight. With pars on fifteen and sixteen, Campbell is five over on the day and ten over for the Open. The cut is expected to be at one over.

Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler have been leap frogging each other atop the leaderboard. Keopka is three under par for the day and eighth under for the Open. Fowler had trailed Koepka early in the round, but is now a stroke ahead of him, nine under for the Open.
